Our history
A passionate beginning
edUP! Academy was founded in 2024 by a dedicated team of educators with over 100 years of combined experience in traditional schooling. They came together to tackle the common struggles students face, from learning difficulties to barriers imposed by socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Determined to bring a fresh approach, the founders envisioned a place where deeply human values and modern technology could unite to help children not just succeed academically but thrive as lifelong learners.
Expanding horizons
Starting in 2025, edUP! Academy's activities will extend beyond Belgium to Portugal, embracing a cross-border approach to learning. We believe education is a shared journey, not confined by country borders. Across Europe, students face similar challenges, like staying focused amid constant digital distractions, declining reading skills, and motivation issues. By taking our learning programs abroad, we create new opportunities for students to be inspired and to grow in different cultural contexts, making learning a truly borderless adventure.
